Hello QC@B members!
This is our first newsletter of the school year. Here, you should expect to receive announcements pertaining to club activities such as hackathons, project updates, networking opportunities, and so much more. We are so grateful to have such an excellent member base to share these experiences and, overall, move forward together in the world of quantum computation and information.

New Leadership and Club Opportunities
Kepha Sher and Ian Loam are our new club presidents. Kepha and Ian are excited to bring a new perspective to QC@B, stemming from their love for the theoretical aspects of quantum computation.
Even though the club is taking an interest into the mathematical aspects of QC, we are going full mode into more research projects (funding potential). Please keep an eye on our website for more information on that. We are also excited to announce a full list of panelists coming to give lectures pertaining to their work in QC!
We are excited to announce our next event of the year: our IBM Fall Fest. Come join us October 10, 2026 for our workshop with IBM where you will have the chance to learn more about how IBM is making changes to the QC industry as well as have a chance to interact with researchers currently making an impact in the field. Everyone is welcome and a full agenda will be sent out soon with information pertaining to the event.
Social Media Changes
We’ve begun creating new posts to help people explore the fascinating field of quantum computing as well as gain a general introduction to QC@B and our events. We plan to stream all of our seminars/lectures on YouTube and are working towards having regular colloquia for projects which will be recorded and saved on there.
Along with that, we are planning to have more active posts on our Instagram and Linkedin page. If you are not already following us on these platforms, it is highly recommended you do so in order to stay up to date with our current plans and events! Click the images below to be taken to our pages!
